Summary
Ohio State's Jaylen McClain starting FS. Good wt/AA, above avg ht/lgth. 3 yr player and 2 yr starter. He has very good communication, burst and tackling, along with good instincts and zone awareness. His strength limits his block shedding and limited opportunities leaves questions about run support and ball production. He would compete with Gardner-Johnson for DS2 and could develop into DS1 by Year 3, freeing Bishop to play more aggressively underneath.
